International Centre for Environment Audit and Sustainable Development (iCED)
The “International Centre for Environment Audit and Sustainable Development (iCED)” was established by the Indian Audit and Accounts Department and the Comptroller and Auditor General. The iCED Internship Scheme provides an exceptional opportunity for students majoring in Ocean Science, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environment Audit, Environmental Economics, Environmental Law, Public Administration, Public Policy, Sustainable Development, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Architecture, Human Resource Management, Disaster Management, and other related fields. This internship will focus on raising awareness of iCED’s work, with a specific emphasis on the Blue Economy, Climate Change, and gender-related issues.
Duration: The internship will last two months and can be extended up to six months.
Number of interns: Two interns from one institution/university will be selected for the internship.Â
Benefits
Token Remuneration: Interns will get a monthly stipend of ₹10,000/- to cover transportation and everyday expenses.

Note: If iCED provides boarding and accommodation, the monthly compensation will be decreased to ₹5000.
Certificate for Internship: The certificate will be granted upon successful completion of the internship, assignment submission, and evaluation by the authorized authority at iCED.
Eligibility
- The applicant must be an Indian national.
- The applicant must be a graduate or studying postgraduate/doctoral courses in one of the following subjects : Ocean science, environmental science, environmental management, environmental auditing, environmental economics, environmental law, public administration, public policy, and sustainable development

Other similar streams. - The applicant must be enrolled in a reputable national or international university or institution.
- Those awarded a “Junior Research Fellowship” by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for study in certain fields will be given priority.
- If there are more applications than required, the applicants will be screened using an acceptable approach.
Application Process
Step 1: The student downloads the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 02: Fill out all of the essential fields on the application form and attach copies of all mandatory documents.
Step 3: Students can send their applications in the required format to [email protected].
NOTE: Fill out the application by typing only the above Performa. No other formats will be allowed. Applications filled out by hand will not be accepted.
Submission of assignments: Students must submit their work and collected resources to iCED in a logically organized format, including a paper outlining how iCED/IAAD can use the content. Because of the coaching offered, IA&AD will retain intellectual property rights.
Selection Procedure: A Screening Committee, appointed by the DG, iCED, shall review all applications. A Committee of Senior Officers, including the DG of iCED, will make the final selection.Â
