Project Report For

Introduction

The project report for Sunflower oil is as follows.

Sunflower oil is a non-volatile oil presented as sunflower (Helianthus annuus) seed. Sunflower oil is widely used as a fried oil in foods and as an emollient in cosmetics preparations. Sunflower oil mainly contains triglyceride linoleic acid. British Pharmacopoeia reports the below profile: palmitic acid: 4-9 percent, stearic acid: 1-7 percent, oleic acid: 14-40 percent, linoleic acid: 48-74%. Many other varieties of sunflower oils are made, like high linoleic, high oleic and mid oleic. Usually high linoleic sunflower oil does have at minimum 69% linoleic acid.

Strong oleic sunflower oil does have approximately 82% oleic acid. The variability of the fatty acid composition is highly affected both by biology and environment. Sunflower oil also includes lecithin, tocopherols, carotenoids and wax. The characteristics of sunflower oil are characteristic of a vegetable triglyceride oil. It  is derived from sunflower type oil seeds.

The owner produces high-quality Sunflower Oil. The advantages of sunflower oil are excess. Sunflower oil has a wide variety of advantages which help keep the whole thing healthy and strong.

Market potential & Strategy

The edible oil market is likely to be controlled by numerous Indian and international companies given the nation’s rising reliance on imports in the coming years. It is estimated that about 7 million tonnes of oil would be exported between 2001 and 2016. Russia and Ukraine are the worlds largest first and second largest producers of sunflower seed. Many major suppliers include Argentina, France, Romania, Hungary, China, India and the United States of America. Actually, sunflower seed accounted for about 8% of the world ‘s total oilseed output, while sunflower oil accounts for 9% of the world ‘s total oilseed output.

In India, sunflower is produced across both the Kharif and Rabi seasons. That being said, about 70% of the plant is generated during the rabi season. The Kharif cycle typically affects for much less than 30% of a crop.
