Project Report For Sanitary Pads Manufacturing

Introduction

The project report for Sanitary pads manufacturing is as follow

A sanitary pad, often known as a sanitary pad, is an absorbent personal care product worn by women during their periods. Because of the lower cost of sanitary napkins and increased hygiene awareness, there is a growing demand for inexpensive sanitary napkins among women in rural areas. Most Indian women make pads out of cotton cloth as a low-cost, homemade answer to their period hygiene and comfort requirements. The fabric pads created at home are cleaned and used. Because they lack the absorption and liquid retention capacity of sanitary napkins, they may be unsanitary and uncomfortable. According to studies, wearing fabric during periods is linked to a very high risk of cervical cancer. As a result, there is a high need for low-cost, locally produced sanitary napkins.

First, commercially available sheet wood pulp is obtained. The wood pulp is then de-liberated on a de-fibration machine with a carbon steel blade until it reaches the appropriate filament length of 1-1.5 mm. After the wood pulp has been deliberated, it is sent into the core-forming machine, which compresses the pulp into the appropriate napkin share. This procedure is carried out entirely by hand, with no automation. The core forming machine wraps the created wood pulp cores in a nonwoven fabric and seals them with a sensitive impulse sealing process. The sealing pads are constructed from nichrome alloy filament. After that, the position sticker is applied to the napkin, and the napkins are packed.
