Mukhyamantri Laghu Udyog Protsahan Yojana (MLDPY)

The Rajasthan government introduced the Mukhyamantri Laghu Udyog Protsahan Yojana (MLDPY) as a program to encourage the start-up and expansion of micro and small businesses in the region.
               This programme offers financial support and incentives to new and current small-scale industries with the goal of promoting entrepreneurship, creating jobs, and strengthening the local economy.

Mission Objectives

  • To make it easier for new micro and small businesses to be established.
  • To aid in the modernization and growth of currently operating units.
  • To create local job possibilities.
  • To promote competition and innovation in small industries.

This scheme has been launched with the objective of providing subsidized loans through Financial institutions to facilitate the establishment of enterprises in the state and to provide new employment opportunities to all sections of society.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Individual applicants, as well as institutional applicants (self-help groups/societies/partnership firms / LLP firms/companies), will also be eligible.
  • Both new and existing enterprises in manufacturing, service, and trade sectors.
  • The establishment of the enterprise under the scheme will be Rajasthan State.
  • The minimum age of the individual applicant shall be 18 years.
  • Priority is often given to marginalized groups, including women, SC/ST entrepreneurs, and differently-abled individuals.

FUNCTION OF THE MINISTRY OF TEXTILES

Financial institutions such as Nationalized Commercial Bank, Private Sector Scheduled Commercial Bank, Scheduled Small Finance Bank, Regional Rural Bank, Rajasthan Financial Corporation, SIDBI, and Urban Cooperative Banks will offer loans under the scheme to manufacturing, service, and business enterprises.

FACILITATION

  • Providing hands-on assistance with project management, implementation, and planning.
  • Support in acquiring the required authorizations and clearances.

Training courses to improve technical expertise and entrepreneurial abilities

LOAN AMOUNT

  • loans up to Rs. 10 crores will be available for new Manufacturing and Service Enterprises
  • 1 Crore for units going for expansion/diversification/ modernisation.
  • The maximum limit of loan for business will be Rs. 1 crore.
  • The nature of the loan will be a composite loan, term loan and working capital (including CC Limit). As per RBI guidelines, collateral security will not be needed on loans up to Rs. 10 lakhs.

INTREST SUBSIDY

The beneficiaries of the bank-provided loan will get an interest subsidy, which will be paid over the course of 5 years as follows:
