Project Report For Flush Door
Project report for Flush door manufacturing is as follows.
A flush door’s basic structure consists of a solid blockboard core, vertical stiles, and horizontal rails that form a pre-fixed frame. Edge-to-edge hardwood strips are sandwiched between veneers and glued with a synthetic resin under high pressure and temperature. To put it another way, it’s a door with a wooden frame coated with ply on both sides and an empty section inside filled with rectangular softwood pieces. After that, the top is textured to give it a finished look. The moniker “flush door” comes from the fact that it has a completely smooth surface. Water sprayed on its surface would just flow off and not accumulate.
Process of Manufacture
A picker is someone who gathers the items needed for an order. The solid core is routed according to the door’s design in order for the skins to fit properly, and the skins are cut to size.
Standard heights and widths are available for the stile and rail pieces, however, the lock block for the doors must be cut to size. If any doors are ordered in a non-standard size, the skin and core must be cut to the proper width and height.
All skins arrive face up; during the final assembly process, a lot of glue is used, which may cause harm to the skin’s face. As a result, the skins are organized face to face to make assembly easier. The two opposing recessed panels will meet in the centre of the recessed panel doors. As a result, Steves uses foam to help distribute the pressure in the panel area.
All the parts and pieces make their way to the assembly area. The components are then glued together and set on top of the door skin, which is then covered with a matching skin to complete the unit.
After a stack of doors has been assembled, they are placed in a press. The doors are pressed in a cold press for 30 minutes; here is where the foam that was previously placed in the panel area comes into play. The doors are then placed in a drying area until the glue is fully drying. That time it takes to dry ranges between 10 and 24 hours.
Market potential & Strategy
According to a new research report, the Indian flush door market is expected to reach USD 2,900 million by 2023. The Indian flush door market is expected to develop due to rising urbanisation and increasing infrastructure spending. Increased government spending on residential projects, commercial and building renovations, as well as a rise in the tourism industry, have all influenced product demand positively. Increasing federal and state financing for infrastructure development projects, and also public funding and lower construction material prices, will all help the industry grow. According to the IBEF, the Indian real estate sector is anticipated to reach USD 179 billion by 2020. Investment firms invested roughly USD 6 billion in real estate in 2016.
