Clean, de-oiled, and bleached cotton is packed in various sizes as absorbent cotton. Because absorbent cotton comes into close touch with the human body, its quality is critical and must meet the required pharmaceutical requirements.

As a raw material, either virgin cotton or waste cotton can be used. In the case of waste cotton, combed waste cotton is preferable. The absorbent cotton fiber is quite stretchy. It is made up of cellulose (98-99.5%) and has a diameter of 16.30 mm and a length of 12- 40 mm. Absorbent cotton is mostly utilized for sanitary purposes, surgical procedures, and everyday use.

To provide optimal protection and avoid irritation, absorbent cotton should be chemically inert and soft. These qualities can be obtained by making the product according to regular production procedures. The raw cotton is processed in a series of stages that make the cotton hydro-phallic and free of exterior impurities, making it suitable for use in surgical dressings and personal hygiene.

Aside from medicinal purposes, absorbent cotton is also used to make traditional sanitary napkins or pads. In beauty salons, cotton wool of reasonable quality is used to remove make-up and grime, among other things.
