Key Incentives, Subsidies & Benefits in the Scheme

The Madhya Pradesh Drone Policy 2025 provides a variety of financial and operational incentives to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of drone manufacture and operations.

1. Capital Investment Subsidy (capex subsidy)

  • DSDM and DeS units can receive a 40% capital investment subsidy up to ₹20 crore for new projects.

2.Stamp duty and registration charges will be reimbursed.

  • Stamp duty and registration fees are fully reimbursed for land in industrial parks built by the Department of Science and Technology and other government agencies. Reimbursement is provided after beginning commercial activities.

3.Subsidy for lease rentals

  • For a three-year term, leasing rentals are reimbursed at 25% or up to ₹5 lakh per year (whichever is lesser).

3.R&D Grant

Up to ₹2 crore for R&D projects in important areas such as AI-based autonomous flight, sensor technologies, communication systems, and propulsion.

4. Incentives for Developing Talent Pool

  • The Mukhyamantri Sikho Kamao Yojana (MMSKY) offers a monthly stipend of ₹8,000 for interns to train in drone assembly, software integration, flight operations, and AI/ML application in the drone ecosystem.

5.Marketing Assistance

  • Participate in national/international exhibitions with a 50% subsidy up to ₹2 lakh for international and ₹1 lakh for national events. This incentive is available once every fiscal year for three years.

6. Assistance for Patent Filing

  • Patents can cost up to ₹5 lakh domestically and ₹10 lakh internationally (or real cost, whichever is lower).

These incentives are designed to reduce the cost of manufacturing and operations, enhance global competitiveness, and attract high-value investments.
