Biofloc technology transforms idle feed and aqua animal faeces into food in a culture system while being revealed to sunlight generating a live feed rich in proteins. The cost of feeding boils down by transferring excess into food once again. The principal component of Biofloc is heterotrophic bacteria. It decreases the ammonia and nitrite that is generated by feeding the fish. These heterotrophic bacteria eat ammonia and then transforms it into protein. Fish could then eat this for growth. It tends to work as real fish feed. Also, it has better nutritional values.
